Why do my stats from the Apple watch not match my stats from my Treadly?

If you choose to track your steps both with your Treadly and your Apple Watch, once you finish your workout, you can see the separate numbers of steps, time, and calories both from your watch and the Treadly. Most of the time, your stats will not be equal to your total activity, as each device is tracking your movement differently: your Treadly is using its infrared sensors along both sides of the walking belt, while the watch is tracking your step with another method.
