How do I update my Treadly's firmware?

What is a firmware update and why do I need to do it?

Treadly’s development team is constantly updating the app with new features and bug fixes. Every time there is a new version, we’ll announce it via a pop-up when you open the Treadly app. You can also check for updates directly in the Apple App Store.

For some new features to work, you’ll also need to update the firmware. To check if there’s a firmware update available, go to your profile screen, press the gear icon in the upper right corner to open your settings, choose “Treadly Configuration” from the list, and choose “Firmware Updates.” If your firmware is updated with the latest available version, you’ll see a pop-up message saying “No new update was found. Your Treadly has the latest firmware installed.” If you need to update your firmware, click “Firmware Update,” choose your Wi-Fi network, and enter your Wi-Fi password. Then, just wait for the app to update the firmware. You’ll see the percentage of the update progress in the app, as well as on your Treadly’s display screen.

Please note: Your phone needs to be physically near your Treadly to successfully update your firmware.
